Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of students’ behaviour support plans for positive and quality student education outcomes
  • Recognise and respond effectively to students’ behaviour escalation signs and triggers
  • Create opportunities for and facilitate practice of adaptive behaviours
  • Track and monitor students’ progress
  • Supervise students to ensure safety
  • Provide necessary support to students to ensure smooth class transitions

 

Entry Qualifications:

  • Local Polytechnic Diploma / IB Diploma OR 2 "A/H2" level passes / 2 "AO/H1" level passes (including General Paper or Knowledge Inquiry)


Requirements:

  • A Polytechnic Diploma in any specialisation or currently pursuing a part-time Degree in Psychology or related field
  • Desire to learn about autism and the patience to teach special needs students
  • Passion to help special needs students maximise their talents and potential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
