Millennials often get a bad rep – we are “entitled” and “easily distracted”, according to some of the older folks.

On the positive side, millennials are said to be highly driven. Led by purpose and passion, we embrace challenges and jump at the opportunity to learn something new. In fact, 93.5 per cent of the millennials who participated in our latest Employers of Choice Survey ranked good career growth and opportunities as their top priority

As a fellow millennial, I want to ensure that all of you are making informed decisions for your future. Besides seeking advice from your school’s Education and Career Guidance counsellors, you can also give ear to our quick pointers on job interviews, resumes, and different industries.

In this issue of BrightMinds, we also had the pleasure of speaking with many bright and passionate millennials who are soaring in their careers. Be inspired by customer service officers, defence engineers and educators as they share about their dynamic job scopes!

If you wish to pursue higher education instead of going directly into the workforce, we have a comprehensive list of features from a wide range of public and private institutions. From the culinary arts to aviation, you will find a wide range of education options wherever your interests lie.
