Career Opportunities


Technology Operations Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day computer operations such as execution of batch jobs, system backup and monitoring of online services in the Mainframe (MVS) and AS/400 system in a 24x7 environment
  • Perform open system monitoring functions and support
  • Ensure timely batch service delivery is kept at optimum service level
  • Monitor the data centre facilities, system uptime, system performance and online services
  • Provide operational support such as QA checklist, start-up/shutdown system tasks and system IPL
  • Diagnose and log down hardware problem and system error into problem ticketing system, coordinate problem resolution with respective vendor or system programmer
  • Escalate unresolved problem to next level or vendor
  • Maintain proper operation documentation and records

Requirements:

  • GCE 'O' level or a Polytechnic Diploma in computer related studies or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Candidates with experience working in a Data Centre environment, Mainframe (MVS) and AS/400 systems will have an advantage
  • Able to work on 12 hours rotating shifts including weekends, Public Holiday and work overtime for shift coverage
